Ambright wins Luxi Award 2017

With „LUXI – the LICHT Prize“, the trade journal LICHT awards prizes for particularly inspiring works that serve the purpose of scientific transfer or represent new technologies and approaches.
Ambright was awarded in the category „Innovation Product“ for its LED’s create technology. The jury’s reasoning is as follows:

With a new type of technology, the young company has managed to provide the user (e. g. lighting designer, industry) with a product that allows them to design rooms with light completely freely. The jury’s evaluation focuses on the innovative development and manufacture of this product as well as the transfer from research to practice.

…] The company developed a patented collotype printing machine and an innovative manufacturing process that produces a filigree, high-quality and aesthetically pleasing product.

For the first time, large-area luminaire geometries in a thickness of only 6 mm can be produced. The design freedom includes not only the shape of the luminaire, but also the individual positioning of the individual light sources. A combination of direct and indirect light is also possible.

The transfer of science into practice:
